LG Recruitment Process
LG Electronics respects the autonomy of local operations, so the hiring process may vary slightly between each Region and Subsidiary. Please consider the following as a general guideline
Online Application
Please find and apply for your desired position through the job board. Refer to the 'Teams' to grasp positions in each field.
Resume Review
We will assess the suitability of your profile for the position you applied for. If there is a position that fits better with your profile than the one you applied for, we may consider you for another position.
Phone Screen
The HR recruiter will briefly check your background and overall career path through a phone screen. It can be helpful if you inform HR in advance about any information that may be relevant during the hiring process (such as available times for calls or interviews). This step may be omitted depending on the subsidiary and position.
Personality and Capability Assessment
Additional personality and capability tests or assessments can be conducted before or after interview, depending on the subsidiary and position.
Interview
This stage might require from 2 up to 5 interviews, You may interview not only with the Hiring Manager but also with other stakeholders or members. Each interviewer will be assigned a focal area to assess whether you possess the necessary competencies for that area. The interview will be conducted fundamentally as a conversation. We hope you also take this time to consider your fit with the people you will be working with. Depending on the subsidiary or position, a pre-interview test or business case interview may be required.
Reference Check
A reference check can be conducted for some positions. This step will be carried out in compliance with the laws of each country.
Job Offer
After internal evaluations, if we consider that your profile suits the position, we will extend a job offer. The job offer typically consists of two stages: a verbal offer and a written offer.

Behavioral questions focus on the skills and behaviors needed to succeed in the role. Hypothetical questions ask you to imagine how you would respond in a given scenario. The specific questions will vary depending on the position and your experience level. To prepare, reflect on specific examples where you demonstrated key skills and achieved positive outcomes. What did you accomplish? How did you measure success? What was your role in making it happen? We may also ask about your short-, mid-, and long-term career goals.
